The last few evenings before I go to bed, I’ve been playing with a fractal generator that is part of the open-source software, The Gimp: http://www.gimp.org/. I converted them into basic grey-scale jpegs to use as stencils in my much beloved ArtRage program and am sharing them with the world at large. You could use them with just about any graphics program that uses layers….frames, background textures, virtual oilslicks, a computer-generated painting of a surprising imaginary underwater discovery? As the title suggests, these graphics make me think of marbling or ice crytstals on a window, in particular. These are addictive to make and I find them exciting to play with, so expect more sets of different styles to come soon….

Hey there! I am working on both starting a freelance company and learning my way around artrage. Is it okay to use these on logos for my client? Obviously, I’ll be paid for the work and they’ll be using them to promote a business, so I’m not sure how that would work….I still love them and will upload for my own use at least, but I’d love to be able to use them for work too!!
Thanks!
Absolutely fine for you to use them for logos for your client, Lara! I’d appreciate seeing what you come up with and I hope it all goes well for you…..
